Here is some data about me and my job.
My Job
As an Information Technology (I.T.) Consultant for the
Golden Nugget Hotel and
Casino in downtown Las Vegas, I am responsible for a wide variety of
systems, applications, development projects, and support functions.
Previous Employers
 | InterApps, Inc. - For 13 years I was the VP of Product
Development and created DOMINION a suite of Windows based Help Desk and CRM
applications. I also did a wide variety of consulting projects all
around the world. |
 | TRW - For over 5 years I worked in the communications group and was involved in voice and data
communications. I spent much of my time building and managing the corporate network
control center.
|
 | Ford Aerospace - For 5 years, I worked in the MIS/IT department and did everything from
repairing analog (yes ANALOG) and digital computers, to writing assembly language programs
for terminal multiplexers and protocol converters. During this time, I won an award
for writing the Kermit file transfer software for the IBM mainframe. It was one of
the first versions of Kermit that could work between IBM mainframe data and other computer
systems.
|
 | Knott's Berry Farm - No one could ask for a better high school job then working at
Knott's Berry Farm. I worked first as a Kitchen Helper, then I graduated and got
into more complicated things. Between dancing in the evening, working in the morning
(summer time) and hanging out with my friends, Knott's was the ultimate job to have during
these years. |
Oh yeah, when I went away to college in Phoenix Arizona (1983) I worked at Bob's Big
Boy restaurant. I was a night cook there, which was great money in Arizona for a
college boy. I also moonlighted as a cook later in life at a Baker's Square
restaurant in Garden Grove CA. So I can not only write computer programs, fix your
television and repair things, I can cook also!
